In March 2020 the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Moscow Endocrine Plant
(hereinafter - Enterprise) began to execute the order of the Government of the Russian Federation and the order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection (2019-nCoV) in the Russian Federation in terms of provision of citizens of the Russian Federation and medical institutions with the necessary amount of medical products - medical masks.
After reaching full production capacity, the Enterprise will be able to produce up to 4 million medical masks per day. Production will be organized on a full cycle, including with own production of a filter membrane.
Reconstruction of three buildings with the total area of more than 8,000 m2 and the construction of five buildings with the total area of more than 10,000 m2, including a 3-zone warehouse building with 6,000 pallet places, were organized at the Pochep branch of the Enterprise, located in the Bryansk Region.
The enterprise has concluded contracts for the supply of 113 units of high-tech equipment for the production of medical masks with an official representative of Chinese manufacturing companies: PIA Automation, Beijing Machinery Engineering Co.,Ltd, Shanghai Marking Technology Co.,Ltd, Shenzhennewenergy Technology Co.,Ltd, Changzhou Machinery Engineering Co.,Ltd, Quanzhou Weave Co.,Ltd, Qingdao Plastic Engineering Co.,Ltd.
On May 12, 2020 the equipment will be supplied for the workshop for the production of medical masks with the production capacity of up to 2 million pieces per day, the opening of which will take place on May 20, 2020.
Currently 217 specialists of the Enterprise and 12 contracting organizations are employed in the construction and organization of production at the facility. Work on the sites is carried out in shifts 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
Interviews were carried out for about 200 persons, 70 of whom will begin to work in production from May 6, 2020, other 70 will be accepted from June 1. Four experts are at an internship for work on high-tech equipment in China. In total, the project will create at least 250 new workplaces.
Commissioning of the production will be carried out in several stages:
On May 20, 2020 the commissioning of the workshop for the production of medical masks with the production capacity of up to 2 million pieces per day;
On July 1, 2020, the commissioning of the workshop for the production of sterile medical masks with the production capacity of up to 2 million pieces per day;
On July 15, 2020, the workshops will reach the production capacity of up to 4 million pieces per day;
On July 20, 2020 the commissioning of the workshops for the production of own meltblown, nasal wire and ear bands.
